Council for Foreigners
The International Student Council (AuRa) is intended to reflect the high proportion of international students.
Its core mission is to represent all international students at Clausthal University of Technology. Since only international students can be elected to this body, it has firsthand knowledge of where problems lie, what interests international students currently have, and how they themselves—or upperclassmen—may have defused such situations in the past.
When it comes to problem-solving, the council works closely with the AStA, on the one hand. On the other hand, it also works with the Council of Seniors, since German bureaucracy and formal matters in particular can be quite difficult to navigate.
Motions
Motions may be submitted in writing or verbally at any time. Please keep this in mind when submitting financial motions.
Meetings
The International Student Council meets once a month during the semester and as needed during breaks. Meetings are announced 7 days in advance.
The meeting minutes are published here on the AStA website 7 days after the meeting and are also sent out via email.
