University Elections

Every January, elections are held for the Student Parliament, the Departmental Student Councils, and the International Student Council. The elections are conducted in accordance with the Election Regulations of the Clausthal University of Technology Student Body.

The Election Committee oversees the proper conduct of the elections and is responsible for them in cooperation with the Election Board. The Election Committee consists of one member of the Council of Elders, three members of the Student Parliament, and one member of the Central Council of Student Councils.
With a few exceptions, your elected representatives will begin their terms on April 1 of each year. More detailed information will be available as soon as further dates for the upcoming elections are announced.
