A Vibrant Place of Learning

A Vibrant Learning Space at the StuZ

In addition to a computer lab, the Student Center (StuZ) also offers a dynamic learning space. It is open to the public from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.—after that, you can still enter the building with a valid TUCard (see below).

Access

The "Lebendiger Lernort" at the StuZ is available to Clausthal University of Technology students even after 7:00 p.m. if you use your TUCard as a key.
Any TU-Card with a red Studentenwerk logo can be used as a key. To do this, you’ll need to go to the Computer Center’s help desk and have the key function activated. This will also add you to the “Students” access group, allowing you to open the front door, the PC lab door, and the door to the Living Learning Space at the StuZ, among other things. Please note that you’ll need to update your card at a wall-mounted reader after 10 days. One is located next to the entrance to the StuZ. For more information, contact the Computer Center help desk or the AStA.
If you still have a TU-Card with the blue Studentenwerk logo, you can get a new TU-Card issued free of charge by specifying that you intend to use it as a key.
