For Students

Books:

The Student Council has its own small collection of textbooks in the fields of mathematics and computer science, which were provided to us by publishers.

You can borrow these from us! The only thing we ask in return is that you send us a short review of the book you borrowed—at least one DIN A4 page in length. As a thank-you, you’re free to keep the book afterward or return it to us so that other students can benefit from it as well.

If you have any questions or are interested in borrowing our books, just send us an email.

Field Trips:

The Student Council regularly works to offer interesting field trips for the various degree programs in our student body. However, we always welcome your own ideas, so if you have a suggestion for a field trip destination, just get in touch with us.

Optical Snakes:

Study guides are summaries of oral and written exams. In the MI Student Council, we collect study guides for the respective courses in the degree programs we oversee.

However, to ensure fairness among all students, we have a few rules for obtaining a “Sehschlange.”
1. First-semester students receive “Sehschlangen” free of charge
. 2.    We only distribute “Sehschlangen” to students who have
also submitted them. 3. Currently, “Sehschlangen” are reserved for members of the MI Student Council, unless you have submitted a “Sehschlange” related to the degree programs covered by our council.

If you need “Sehschlangen,” please send us an email at the student council’s address: fs-mi@tu-clausthal.de
